The Fieldpiece SC680 600 AC/DC Swivel Clamp Meter Dual Display Power LPF is a top-of-the-line TRMS Wireless Power Clamp Meter packed with all the essential features service technicians need to install, service, and troubleshoot any HVACR system. The wireless meter also includes direct integration with the Job Link System App. Also, the Fieldpiece Clamp Meter is ideal for obtaining electrical measurements on mini splits and includes Molex tips for hard-to-read circuitry. The low pass filter removes noise to get accurate voltage readings on variable frequency drives (VFDs) and tests three-phase power lines with two lads. It maintains a wireless connection directly to a mobile device at 1000 feet (305 meters). The clamp meter has a safety rating of CAT IV at 600 V and CAT III at 1000V.
The Fieldpiece SC680 Wireless Power Clamp Meter is excellent for troubleshooting mini-split systems. It includes dual Type K temperature ports to measure entering/exiting air temperatures and directly measure frequency (Hz) with the clamp jaw. The included Molex tips are super thin to get readings on hard-to-reach circuitry to measure voltage and resistance. In addition, the SC680 measures DC Amps and Diode for mini-split inverts with a swivel clamp to view lessons at any angle.
The Fieldpiece Clamp Meter is the essential clamp meter with wireless functionality for HVAC professionals. The clamp meter will help determine system efficiency by directly measuring a system’s power consumption (kW).
