Description

The Klein Tools ET310 Digital Circuit Breaker Finder with Integrated GFCI Outlet Tester is a circuit breaker tester used to locate the correct circuit breaker in a panel to which an electrical outlet or fixture is connected. The ET310 Klein Tools transmitter is connected to the electrical outlet or fixture in the circuit while the receiver is used to scan the breakers in the circuit panel. The Klein ET310 is very commonly used by HVAC technicians as an AC circuit breaker finder (circuit tester/breaker tester). The klein circuit breaker finder also features a GFCI tester for outlets or a digital plug tester.

How do i use the Klein ET310?

To use the Klein Tools ET310: Turn on transmitter and insert into outlet or socket. Turn on Receiver. Go to circuit breaker panel and pass the receiver gently over the panel once to calibrate it. Pass it a second time to locate breaker. The light turns red on receiver when located. It will also make an faster beeping sound when you have found the correct breaker. More detailed instructions can be found in the user manual.

Do klein tools have a lifetime warranty?

Klein Tools offers two distinct warranties depending on product type. In this case, it would be:

Limited Warranty

Klein Tools, Inc. warrants that the products set forth below will be free from defects in material and workmanship, under normal use for the timeframes listed below (unless otherwise noted on the product packaging). At its option, Klein Tools will repair or replace, or refund the purchase price of, any product which fails to conform with this warranty. This warranty does not apply to damage from alterations, abuse, misuse, lack of maintenance, or normal wear and tear of the product. Proof of purchase from an Authorized Klein Tools Distributor is required for all warranty claims. This warranty does not apply to batteries.

Electrical Test and Measurement Tools are warrantied for two years from the date of purchase. This warranty explicitly does not cover High Voltage Test and Measurement Tools. See Klein Commercial and Industrial products warranty.

Warranty Returns

All warranty returns require proof of purchase from an Authorized Klein Tools Distributor and must include a Warranty Return Authorization (WRA) number.

Must have for every home

Works very well unless the wiring inside the panel isn't well laid out. Also slow down, don't go to fast over panel.
