Inficon D-TEK Stratus, 724-202-G1, combines superior refrigerant leak detection with the Cloud Hunting capability of a portable monitor in one hand-held unit. When refrigerant leaks from a system, it does not disperse evenly. Instead, it forms odorless, colorless “clouds,” typically close to the floor. The concentration of refrigerant is usually higher near the leak source. When checking with a traditional leak detector, it will likely alarm when walking into a cloud. This does not help, as the cloud may not be near the source. Unlike these detectors, the Inficon D-TEK Stratus uses patent-pending technology to display the refrigerant concentration in the air in parts per million (ppm). Now you can read the large LCD & follow the number to find areas of a higher concentration, straight to the leak. D-TEK Stratus is also designed for versatility. Quickly & easily switch sensors to look for refrigerant or CO2! D-TEK Stratus is the next big thing in refrigerant leak detection.
The Inficon D-TEK Stratus comes with features. One is the automatic and manual zero modes and a rugged carrying case. Furthermore, it detects all CFC HCFCs, HFCs, and HFOs. Moreover, it features as well a two-year replacement warranty. Also, a 0.03 oz. (1 gm)/year sensitivity. Lastly, it’s equally sensitive to all refrigerants, including R22, R32, R134a, R404a, R407c, R410a, R422b, R448a, R449a, R452a, R452b, R507 (AZ50), R1234yf, CO2 (requires CO2 sensor), ammonia, SF6, and more.
