RETURNS FOR UNUSED ITEMS
- If for some reason you change your mind about an order, please contact us immediately at
firstname.lastname@example.org to determine if we can cancel shipment.
- If we determine you can cancel your order and it has not shipped or been picked up, we will refund 100% of your payment if paid by cash, money order, or cashier’s check. We will only refund 97% of your payment if paid by credit card, debit card, or PayPal.
- If the order has already shipped and it’s been more than 48 hours since shipment started, you will have to wait until the product arrives at your home to refuse it or contact the carrier handling your order directly. We cannot intercept the package ourselves.
- If you have already received the order and you have determined that you no longer need or want it, you may contact us at email@example.com within 30 days of arrival to receive an RMA and return details. Please be aware that we charge a 15% restocking fee on all returned merchandise unless it’s defective.
WE DO NOT PAY RETURN SHIPPING UNLESS HVAC AND TOOLS DIRECT HAS SENT AN INCORRECT ITEM OR THE PACKAGE OR ITEM IS DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE FROM THE MANUFACTURER OR DUE TO THE SHIPPING CARRIER.
Requirements for Refund
- Product(s) being returned must be unused and/or must not have been installed.
- Product(s) must be free from damages, scratches and/or defects caused by mishandling of the product upon delivery.
- Packaging must be intact and all items included in the original packaging must be included. This includes manuals, accessories, etc.
- Any markings, writings, labels, or otherwise addition, edit, or damage to the original manufacturer packaging is not allowed.
- All freight bound products must be returned via freight carriers.
- All products must be in re-saleable condition (able to be sold again).
RETURNS FOR DEFECTIVE OR DAMAGED ITEMS
On arrival of your purchase, before signing off on delivery or accepting the delivery from the carrier, inspect the shipping container (the actual package the product(s) were shipped in) carefully for damage. If damage is found, please notify the delivery representative and refuse the item instead of signing off or otherwise accepting delivery. Contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as possible in order to inform us of the situation. Include pictures and any relevant information. We will then arrange for a REPLACEMENT.
If the product was delivered while you or any other intended or trusted recipient was not present, inspect the shipping container for damage as soon as possible. If you have reason to believe the product was also damaged, please contact us at email@example.com. Include pictures and any relevant information. If we determine that the product was damaged while shipping we will arrange for a FULL REFUND or REPLACEMENT of the product. If you are unable to refuse the package with the shipping carrier responsible for delivering the package to your address, we will arrange for return shipping.
If you receive a product, inspect the shipping container, and determine that the package is undamaged, but upon inspecting the item determine that it has been damaged or is defective, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Include pictures and any relevant information. We will arrange for a FULL REFUND or REPLACEMENT.
INCORRECT OR MISSING ITEMS
When you receive the product please inspect the packing slip and the package(s) to confirm you have received all of the correct items on your order. If you are missing items or received the incorrect item(s) please contact us at email@example.com. Include pictures and any relevant information.
For missing items, we will schedule a REPLACEMENT ORDER to get them to the shipping address at no extra cost.
For incorrect items, we will schedule a REPLACEMENT ORDER to get the correct item(s) sent at no extra cost and will also arrange for return shipping of the incorrect item(s).
