The Yellow Jacket 67071 YJACK Temperature/Humidity Kit includes two YJACK temperature clamps, two YJACK DEW Psychrometers, and one YJACK PATH. The YJACK temperature clamps provide wireless Bluetooth measurements for the surface temperature of pipes up to 1.25” in diameter. The YJACK DEW Psychrometers wirelessly measure temperature, humidity, wet bulb, dew point, and more in ambient and ventilation ducting. The measurements can be viewed on the YJACK View App downloaded on any iOS or innovative Android dev and as a P51-870 Titan manifold. The YJACK PATH included in the Yellow Jacket Temperature Clamp and Psychrometer Kit is used to extend the transmitting range of the YJACK probes an additional 400 ft. and amplify the strength of the signal. The YJACK devices are the next evolution in creating an interconnected and efficient work environment allowing service technicians to work more quickly and precisely in the HVAC/R industry.
The Yellow Jacket YJACK temperature clamps provide a robust and secure connection to pipes and have a flexible cable connection with the Bluetooth module to allow easy access in small and difficult-to-reach areas. The Bluetooth module also includes a rotating mounting magnet on the back for placement on a nearby metal surface. The YJACK temperature clamps have a 400 ft line of sight signal range, but when used with the included YJACK PATH, the distance is increased by an additional 400 ft line of sight.
The temperature range on the YJACK clamps is -40° F to 176° F (-40° C to 80° C) with a measurement accuracy of +/- 1.0° C. The YJACK temperature clamps in the Yellow Jacket 67071 kit have a long 1200-hour battery life and an IP rating of IP52.
The DEW Psychrometers in the Yellow Jacket YJACK Temperature/ Humidity 67071 Kit will easily and wirelessly measure temperature, humidity, wet bulb, dew point, and enthalpy change across evaporator coils for system operational efficiency. The 8” flexible steel probe is excellent for optimal sensor placement in the ventilation ducting. In addition, the sensor is designed for increased air exchange and better response time. The magnet on the back of the Psychrometer probes can be used to secure placement on a metal surface. The YJACK Dew Psychrometers also have a 400 ft. line of sight signal range that can be increased using the YJACK PATH.
The Yellow Jacket DEW Psychrometer measurement range for humidity is 0 to 100% RH, with an accuracy of +/- 2.0 % RH, and a temperature measurement range of -40° F to 257° F (-40°C to 125°C) with an accuracy of +/- 0.2° C. The YJACK psychrometer probes have a 1500-hour battery life and are rated IP52.
The Yellow Jacket Temperature/Humidity Kit 67071 also includes one YJACK PATH that connects and broadcasts up to six YJACK devices and two P51-870 Titan devices simultaneously. The YJACK PATH adds a 400 ft line of sight signal range to all YJACK devices and P51-870 devices and amplifies the signal strength through difficult-to-penetrate barriers. In addition, you can use more than one YJACK PATH (up to 6 additional units) to expand the line of sight range drastically. The signal can be viewed on the YJACK View App, a P51-870 Titan device, or both. The YJACK PATH has a 75-hour continuous duty battery life and is IP52 rated.
All YJACK devices are easy to operate with a one-button start-up and a status indicator LED that will flash about every 2 seconds to indicate the YJACK device readings are being broadcast. When the battery level reaches 10%, the LED will flash red to indicate the low battery condition. All devices include a magnet on the back for easy placement on metal surfaces.
